Sandgate Bottles & Cans Exchange is a local business for the local community. Founded by a family with deep ties to the Sandgate area, our aim is to ensure the community we grew up in makes the most of the Containers for Change scheme.
With state-of-the-art equipment and a focus on excellent customer service, we make container returns quick, friendly and straightforward.
24/7 Bag Drop Facilities
Short on time? Bag, tag and drop your containers when it suits you. Our bag drop locations are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

- Bag it: secure your containers in a sturdy bag.
- Tag it: write your member number on the bag using a waterproof marker or sticker.
- Drop it: leave the bag at your nearest bag drop location.

Our Container Collection Machines
Our automated counting and sorting machines include three conveyor belts for different container types, plus a storage compartment so you can sort as you go.
Our friendly team will guide you through each step. We also have bulk counting facilities available, accepting amounts from as little as 10 containers to 10,000+.
