A quick check before you leave
Queensland’s Containers for Change scheme pays 10 cents for each eligible drink container. Most eligible containers are between 150 mL and 3 L, subject to the scheme’s container, size and labelling rules.
Not every bottle, can or carton qualifies. Plain milk containers are excluded, as are flavoured milk and pure juice containers of 1 litre or more. Check the refund mark and use the official barcode checker if you’re unsure.
